Our new Lichfield office is now open, led by Partners Tom Phillips, David Ross and Amy Cotterill, bringing dedicated local access to our full range of accountancy, tax and advisory services.
The three partners are already well known and well established in the local market, and the new office reflects strong existing demand from clients in the area, many of whom have worked with the team for a number of years. Having a permanent base in Lichfield allows us to build on those relationships and offer a more accessible, local point of contact, while continuing to draw on the wider expertise and resources of bk plus as a firm.
The opening also reflects something we are hearing consistently from clients across the region. At a time when businesses face substantial macroeconomic pressures and an increasingly digital world, owners are telling us they want a genuine local presence and real, face-to-face relationships with people who understand their business. The Lichfield office is a direct response to that. It puts expert advice and support back on clients’ doorsteps, rather than at the end of a call queue or a chatbot.
The expansion forms part of our continued growth across the Midlands, reflecting our ongoing commitment to being close to the clients and communities we serve, even as much of the wider market moves in the opposite direction. It follows a period of sustained development as we continue to strengthen our presence in key towns and cities across the region and respond to growing demand for genuinely local, personal service from businesses of all sizes.
Shaun Knight, CEO at bk plus, said “Opening in Lichfield is a natural extension of our footprint in the Midlands. Our team there already have strong relationships with businesses in the area, and having a dedicated base means we can continue to offer the close, personal service bk plus is known for, right on our clients’ doorstep.
In a world where so many services are becoming more centralised and automated, our clients are telling us they want the opposite: real people, locally based, who they can sit down with face to face. This is very much part of our wider ambition to be a firm that grows with, and stays close to, the communities we work in.”
Tom Phillips, Partner at bk plus, said “Lichfield has always been an important area for us, and having a permanent base here means we can be even more accessible to the clients and businesses we work with. It’s a great opportunity to invest properly in the area, meet clients more regularly face to face, and continue to grow our presence in the city.
We’re looking forward to building on the relationships we’ve already established and supporting even more local businesses as they grow.”
The Lichfield office adds to our growing network across the Midlands and beyond, as we continue to broaden our regional presence and support businesses with a full range of accountancy, tax and advisory services.
