Alison joined Bird Simpson the firm in 1988 after graduating from the University of Dundee and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.

With over three decades of experience, she supports a wide range of clients including corporate entities, charitable organisations, partnerships, and individuals. Her work spans accountancy, audit, and all areas of taxation, but what sets Alison apart is the strength of the client relationships she’s built over the years.

Clients value her clarity, consistency, and practical advice—especially when tackling complex reporting and compliance matters. Alison is known for being a trusted advisor who understands her clients’ goals and delivers with care and precision.
