Acquisition of Accounted For strengthens our presence across Wales

Accounted For has built a strong following among local businesses across Cardiff, Barry and the surrounding areas, with a reputation for straightforward, dependable advice. The team will continue to operate from their existing offices, working with the same clients they know well, now with access to the broader resource and specialist expertise that bk plus brings.

The acquisition adds to our established Welsh presence, which already includes a number of offices across the country. Our focus on keeping client relationships local remains central to how we continue to grow in Wales.

Cardiff and Barry are commercially active areas with a strong and varied business community, and having a team with Lee’s experience and the client relationships they’ve built over the years puts us in a strong position to support businesses across that part of the country.

Shaun Knight, CEO of bk plus, said

“Wales has been an important part of our story for some time, and this acquisition is a natural next step for us in a market we know well.

What we’ve built across Wales already shows that our model works here. Clients want to deal with people who understand their local area, and that’s exactly what our offices deliver.

Bringing Accounted For into the group adds real depth in South Wales. Cardiff and Barry are busy, commercially active areas, and having a team with Lee’s experience and the client relationships they’ve established puts us in a strong position to support businesses across that part of the country.

For clients of Accounted For, the message is simple. The faces you know are staying, and the service you’re used to isn’t going anywhere. What’s changing is the range of what we can offer you.”

Lee Eustace, Business Director of Accounted For, said “Joining bk plus felt like the right move for our clients and our team. We’ve always prided ourselves on being a firm that people can rely on, and that approach isn’t changing.

What bk plus offers is the opportunity to do more. Our clients have growing businesses with evolving needs, and being part of a national firm means we can now bring in specialist support on areas like tax planning, corporate finance or restructuring when the situation calls for it, without losing the close working relationship that’s always defined how we operate.

Cardiff and Barry are great places to do business, and we’re excited about what this means for the businesses we work with across the area.”

We continue to grow our national presence, with more than 55 offices and over 900 people across the UK, supporting SMEs and owner-managed businesses with advice that stays close to them.
